/ Amanda Yu – Ringette

With her efforts to build ringette back up in the region, there isn’t a person in the Peace Country Ringette association that Amanda Yu hasn’t touched with her kindness. She volunteers for the love of the game. From meeting parents and athletes at sport stores around the city to ensure they are getting the proper gear to seeing that the club has ice time booked she puts in countless hours. She mentors the new coaches, parent volunteers and the kids themselves. Thanks to Amanda’s efforts we have been able to grow the club in the last few years, even through the pandemic.
