Highlight Reel – January 2026

Highlight Reel – January 2026

Welcome to 2026!

Many of you are familiar with our Grande Prairie Subaru Sport Excellence Awards (taking place March 27 this year) but we wanted a way to celebrate the achievements of our incredible Northwest Alberta sporting community all year round.

The solution? Our brand new Monthly Highlight Reel! Launching on the first Friday of every month, this digital showcase is designed to shine a spotlight on the wins, milestones and heartwarming moments happening across the Northwest Alberta Region. Whether it is a podium finish, a coach achieving a milestone or a team demonstrating incredible spirit, we want to help you tell that story.

Share Your Highlights

Do you have a story that deserves a spot in the reel? We want to hear from you!

  • Email: info@gpsportconnect.ca

  • What to include: A  description of the achievement, the names of those involved (include associated sport clubs) and at least one good quality photo.

Let’s keep the momentum going and celebrate our local talent every single month.
