Ferris Sandboe is the reigning Canadian Strong Woman Champion in the U73kg division. She qualified for the Natural World’s Strongest Women in Scotland and Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival in Ohio.
Lahni Buller of Grande Prairie represented Canada and won Bronze in the U18 doubles at the IRF World Junior Championships in racquetball. Ariana Buller and Nathan Buller also competed.
Team Alberta for the 2026 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships in Regina this May will include Kamryn Ressler of Grande Prairie and Kasha Moses of Calais.
The U16 Boys from the SPVC South Peace Volleyball Club won Volleyball USA’s West Coast Qualifier in the 16 year old male division.
